Right now we are all dealing with pain and suffering in a variety of ways. Experiencing adversity, irritations and anguish. We may be encountering failure, death, disease, or divorce.
But if I can use the Oyster as an example, these difficulties like an oyster can lead to positive transformations. The oyster coats the surface of a irritant such as a grain of sand with layer upon layer of very thin pearly nacre, so smoothly added the eye cant see the rough edges.
Like the pearl our beauty can be formed of life’s obstacles. It isn’t always easy to find the positives in the hardships we endure. But in time, beauty is often revealed and transformations occur in our growing process.
Every emotion, success, sorrow and pain become another layer of our positive progress and beauty. The pearl is a perfect example of beauty and strength out of irritations and difficulties. A good reminder with the events going on in the world today.
YOU TELL ON YOURSELF Author unknown
You tell on yourself by the friends you seek, By the very manner in which you speak
By the way you employ your leisure time, By the use you make of every dollar or dime.
You tell what you are by the things you wear, By the spirit in which your burdens you bear.
By the kind of things at which you laugh, By the records you play on your phonograph
You can tell what you are by the way you walk, By the things of which you delight to talk
By the manner in which you bear defeat, By so simple a thing as what you eat
By the books you choose from a well-defined shelf, In these ways and more, you tell on yourself.
So there is really not a particle of sense in your efforts to keep up a false pretense.
